Windshield Recycling Machine Laminated Glass Separator

75 million car windshields need to be replaced every year. It contains thousands of tons of PVB, mostly in the inner layer of glass, but usually goes to the landfill. Instead, the outer glass is reused and the PVB obtained after recycling and reprocessing can be used for various purposes.

Laminated glass is a flat or curved composite glass product formed by heating and pressing an organic polymer interlayer film between two or more original glass sheets. Common original glass sheets include float glass, tempered glass, colored glass, heat-absorbing glass or heat-reflecting glass, etc.; common interlayer films include PVB, SGP, EVA, etc.

The glass inside the windshield and the interlayer can be completely separated by the glass pre-pressing machine and the glass detachment machine to obtain pure glass and PVB/SGP/EVA interlayer. It can then be recycled and reused. The glass can be directly sold or further processed, while the PVB film can be cleaned and granulated, and then further utilized. All have very good use value. About 1 ton of PVB film can be extracted from 10 tons of automobile front windshield, with a yield of 10%. Among them, the glass pre-pressing machine can crush the laminated glass such as the glass on the windshield of the car, and then stand in water for 3 days, and finally separate the glass and the interlayer through the deglazing machine.
