Paper Plastic Recycling Line in India
This paper plastic recycling line installed at a customer site in India is designed to process waste milk cartons, Tetra Pak, coated paper, and paper-plastic scraps, separating the paper fiber from plastic or aluminum-plastic components and producing paper pulp and recyclable plastic materials.
Complete Recycling Process for Milk Cartons and Composite Waste
The process begins with feeding waste milk cartons and paper-plastic scraps into the recycling line. The pulping equipment breaks down the packaging and releases the paper fibers into the water. Subsequent separation and screening equipment removes plastic film and other unwanted materials from the fiber stream.
After screening, the recovered paper pulp enters the pulp dewatering system. A filter press removes excess water and produces a more concentrated pulp material. The dewatered pulp is then compressed and packed, making it easier to store, transport, and supply to paper manufacturers.
Integrated Plastic Processing and Final Products
The separated plastic film or aluminum-plastic composite material is collected as a separate material stream. For suitable plastic fractions, the project can be connected to a plastic pelletizing system, including melting, extrusion, and pellet cutting equipment.
After pelletizing, the plastic is converted into reusable recycled plastic pellets. This creates two main output streams from the same recycling project: recovered paper pulp and recycled plastic pellets.
The complete system therefore covers more than paper-plastic separation. It integrates pulping, screening, pulp dewatering, filter pressing, pulp packing, and plastic pelletizing, allowing different components of composite packaging waste to be processed according to their material characteristics.
