Start by feeding the jelly-filled cable into the crusher. However, before crushing, a cleaning solution is added to facilitate the separation of the gel from the cable assembly. This cleaning solution has been carefully selected to ensure it dissolves jelly effectively while being environmentally friendly. The shredder then breaks the cables into smaller pieces while cleaning them with cleaning fluid.
As the crushing and cleaning process continues, the gel inside the cable gradually separates from the other cable materials. The cleaning solution helps dissolve and remove the jelly, leaving behind remaining parts such as wire and plastic sheathing. These separated materials can be further processed for recycling.
Once the crushing and cleaning process is complete, carefully collect the mixture of cleaning fluid and dissolved jelly. The mixture goes through a separation process that recovers the cleaning fluid and separates the jelly. The recovered cleaning fluid can be processed and reused in subsequent recycling operations, reducing overall resource consumption and minimizing waste generation.
Using this method of cleaning and physical separation to recycle jelly-filled cables has several advantages. First, it can recycle valuable materials such as metals and plastics from cables, reducing the need to mine virgin resources.
