Working Process of the Cable Granulator and Separator
The cable granulator and separator uses a dry physical recycling process without water, preventing wastewater pollution during operation. Scrap cables are first crushed into small particles and then transported to the airflow separator, where copper and plastic are separated through vibration and airflow based on density differences. Vibrating screens further improve separation purity, especially for thin mixed wires and automotive cables. The machine is also equipped with a pulse bag dust collector to reduce dust and maintain a cleaner working environment.
Stable Operation Depends on Proper Maintenance
Stable operation of the cable granulator depends on regular maintenance. If plastic appears in the copper outlet, the crusher blades may need sharpening, as worn blades affect separation accuracy. The separator screen should also be cleaned daily to prevent blockage and maintain stable airflow. In addition, grease lubrication is recommended every 8 hours of continuous operation to reduce bearing wear and overheating.
