With the accelerating pace of electronic product upgrades, the volume of electronic waste, such as discarded circuit boards and home appliance motherboards, continues to grow. The efficient recovery of valuable metals such as copper, gold, and silver has become a key focus for the industry. A state-of-the-art electronic waste recycling plant established in Qatar achieves fully automated operation from dismantling to purification. Full-Process Dismantling and Crushing System

The production line's front end features specialised PCB dismantling equipment for pre-processing waste circuit boards. This separates components from substrate structures, reducing subsequent crushing complexity. The equipment employs high-strength cutting tools and a stable transmission system, ensuring smooth operation and convenient maintenance.

During the crushing stage, the dedicated PCB crushing and sorting line undertakes the core task. Its multi-stage pulverisation structure progressively refines materials, while integrated airflow and density separation systems effectively segregate metallic and non-metallic powders. The entire sorting line features robust sealing and incorporates dust extraction systems, ensuring environmentally sound and safe production. This process yields high-purity copper granules and mixed metal powders, providing premium feedstock for subsequent refining operations.

Precious Metal Refining and Electrolytic Purification System

Building upon the sorted metallic materials, the production line incorporates comprehensive precious metal refining equipment. Utilising hydrometallurgical processes, metals such as gold, silver, and palladium undergo chemical dissolution and precipitation extraction to achieve separation and recovery of precious metals. The entire apparatus is constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, featuring a highly automated control system capable of precisely regulating temperature and reaction parameters to enhance recovery rates and purity.

For the deep utilisation of copper resources, the system incorporates copper electrolysis equipment. Through electrolytic processes, crude copper undergoes further purification to produce high-purity electrolytic copper plates, meeting requirements for reuse or direct sale. The electrolytic cells feature stable structures, uniform current distribution, and optimised energy consumption control, making them suitable for continuous large-scale production.

Integrated Design Achieves Zero-Waste Objective

This facility establishes a complete resource recovery chain, spanning front-end dismantling, crushing, and sorting to back-end precious metal extraction and electrolytic purification. Equipment interfaces seamlessly, with automated conveyor systems minimising manual intervention and boosting overall efficiency.

Crucially, the production line incorporates comprehensive waste gas, wastewater, and residue treatment systems from the design phase. Through multiple environmental protection measures, emissions are minimised, achieving a genuinely ‘zero-waste’ operational model. Electronic waste is thus transformed from an environmental burden into a sustainable resource.
