Two Widely Used Technologies in Cable Recycling
In the surroundings that environmental protection are getting more stress, material recycle and reuse becomes an efficient way to reduce the litter pollution. Two Widely Used Technologies in Cable Recycling
Generally speaking, two frequently-used recycling technologies are : stripping of cables and granulating of cables. In a granulating process the cables are shredded to separate the metal conductor from insulator by the Cable Wire Recycling Machine. In order to get better recycling effect, the cables can be treated with liquid nitrogen for making the insulation more fragile before being processed. The granulating technology is of high output; therefore it is mostly used in big waste recovery companies. In addition, it is flexible because many types of cable can be processed.
In a stripping process, the insulation material is being separated and peeled from the conductor. Owing to applying the Copper wire stripping machine to the processing of cable scrap, higher metal recycling rate and grades can be achieved. At the same time, the utilization level of plastic insulation gets improved. However, the stripping machine is often manually fed, because the cable has to be straightened and precisely guided to cutting rolls. As a result, the stripping machine is of low capacity. Besides, little diameter cables can not be stripped.
