The ACP panel separator developed by SUNY GROUP utilises mechanical crushing and precision sorting processes to convert waste ACP into high-purity aluminium and reusable plastic. It is widely used in building demolition, decorative waste processing, and the recycled aluminium industry chain, providing enterprises with a stable raw material recovery solution.

Equipment Configuration and Process Flow

Aluminum-Plastic Separator Workflow

A complete ACP panel recycling production line comprises a twin-shaft shredder, a hammer mill, a grinding system, an air classifier, an electrostatic separator, and a pulse dust collection system. First, the twin-shaft shredder breaks large ACP panels into uniform particles; subsequently, the hammer mill performs secondary crushing to ensure more thorough separation of the aluminium and plastic layers. The grinding system further refines the particle size, preparing the material for subsequent air classification and electrostatic separation. The air classifier initially separates lightweight plastic from heavy aluminium, whilst the electrostatic separator utilises differences in electrical conductivity between materials to achieve efficient separation of aluminium and plastic. This process ultimately yields recyclable aluminium pellets with a purity of up to 98%, whilst the collected plastic can be sent for downstream reprocessing.

Equipment Advantages and Capacity

The ACP panel separator employs a low-speed, high-torque twin-shaft design capable of processing various types of waste panels ranging from 2 mm to 6 mm in thickness. Hourly output can reach 200–500 kg, with slight variations depending on material density and pre-treatment conditions. The combination of electrostatic separation and air classification not only enhances aluminium recovery rates but also reduces dust and noise emissions, meeting environmental protection requirements. The line’s energy consumption is reasonable, with processing costs per tonne approximately 20%–30% lower than those of traditional manual separation or single-stage crushing processes. Thanks to its modular design, enterprises can flexibly adjust configurations according to the scale of waste materials, achieving an optimal balance between investment and production capacity.

Application Scenarios

This equipment is suitable for construction demolition waste processing plants, decoration and renovation recycling enterprises, and recycled aluminium production facilities, effectively enhancing the reuse value of waste ACP. High-purity aluminium pellets can not only be fed directly into the smelting and recycling process, but are also suitable for applications in architectural profiles.
