This is a Copper Small to Big Wire Cable Recycling Machine designed for small to medium-scale recycling operations. Through pre-crushing, conveying, and fine separation, it efficiently separates copper from plastic in mixed waste cables, achieving high-purity recovery and directly enhancing material utilisation and recycling returns.
1. System Structure and Workflow
This copper wire recycling system comprises three core modules—a pre-shredder, a belt conveyor, and a copper wire pelletiser—forming a continuous processing line. Raw materials (such as telecommunications cables, automotive wiring harnesses, and domestic Romex cables) require no complex pre-treatment and can be fed directly into the pre-shredder hopper. The pre-shredder initially cuts through tangled or oversized cables, thereby avoiding the efficiency losses and safety risks associated with manual sorting. Subsequently, the material is conveyed steadily via the conveyor to the granulator for secondary crushing and separation, ultimately achieving effective separation of copper and plastic.
The entire line features a compact design with a small footprint, making it suitable for factory environments with limited space, whilst also reducing the complexity of equipment layout and installation.

Through optimised airflow separation and screening structures, the purity of copper particles can reach over 99%, meeting recycling standards. The equipment is suitable for all types of scrap cables with a diameter of less than approximately 14 mm (9/16 inch), including automotive wiring harnesses, electronic wires, and telecommunications cables. It should be noted that different cable structures (such as multilayer insulation or composite materials) may affect the actual processing results.
