How are waste tires made into rubber powder and pellets?

Time:0000-00-00 00:00:00 Author:Suny Group

With the increase in the amount of waste tires scrapped, waste tires are rapidly increasing, and they are stacked everywhere, which not only takes up a lot of space, but also seriously deteriorates the ecological environment. Therefore, waste tires are reasonably recycled and utilized, and renewable resources are fully utilized to turn waste into treasure. It is of great significance to build a conservation-minded society.

At present, the commonly used methods for producing rubber powder from waste tires include normal temperature method and low temperature method. The low temperature method keeps the rubber at a low temperature in the process of rubber crushing, pulverization and grinding to obtain high quality and efficiency, but the investment in low temperature treatment equipment is relatively high. It is large and the operating cost is high, which makes this method unfavorable for large-scale promotion. The normal temperature method also has many disadvantages in using waste tires to produce rubber powder, such as: low crushing efficiency, low production volume, easy agglomeration, etc., and the process of metal and rubber separation is not thorough, resulting in more metal impurities in the finished rubber powder.

Therefore, re-developing a process for decomposing waste tires into fine rubber powder, and effectively solving the problems of low production efficiency, incomplete separation of impurities and rubber, easy agglomeration of finished products and many metal impurities, has become an urgent need to be solved in this industry. The problem.

A method for producing rubber powder from waste tires, comprising the following steps:

s1: raw material processing

First, the waste tires are sorted, cleaned, and the sediment and oil on the tire top and sidewall are cleaned, and the gravel, screws and other debris on the tread are removed, and then cut into 3-5cm waste tire blocks by a ring cutting machine. It is stored in the raw material box, and a speed-adjustable and variable-frequency conveyor belt is installed at the discharge port in the raw material box to ensure continuous speed-controlled feeding;

s2: Coarse crushing and sieving

Roughly crush the waste tire blocks in the raw material box in s1 into rubber granules, and remove the metal impurities in the rubber granules;

s3: Abrasive mix

Mix the rubber particles obtained in s2 with calcium carbonate powder and circuit board powder to form abrasives with uniform concentration;

s4: fine crushing and sieving

The abrasive obtained in s3 is finely crushed and sieved to obtain fine rubber powder;

s5, packaged into storage;

Further, calcium carbonate powder accounts for 5-10% of the total abrasive mass in the s3; preferably 5%-8% of the total abrasive mass;

Further, the particle size of the calcium carbonate powder is more than 10 orders; preferably 10-100 orders;

Further, in the described s3, circuit board powder accounts for 3-5% of the total mass of the abrasive; preferably 4% of the total mass of the abrasive;

Further, the circuit board powder of the present invention is the residual slag powder after the precious metal components are extracted from waste circuit boards by dry or wet grinding, or the corners and waste thermosetting resin products that meet the performance requirements. The powder obtained by processing by the method has a particle size of more than 20 meshes, preferably 20-100 meshes, and a moisture content of ≤3%;
