1. Introduction to the mask machine
It is formed by non-woven fabric hot pressing, folding and forming, ultrasonic welding, waste removal, ear band and nose band welding and other processes. It produces mechanical equipment for masks with certain filtering performance, but the mask equipment is not a stand-alone machine, it requires multiple machines Work together to complete various processes.
2. The production process of masks
The entire production process of masks is still relatively large, especially the subsequent disinfection process. This is why a mask is made in 0.5 seconds, but the production efficiency is still very low. In fact, if we want to truly understand the production process of masks, we must first start with the structure of the mask itself. When we opened the medical mask, we found that the mask has three layers of non-woven fabric, which is also required by the national standards for medical masks, otherwise the protection level cannot be met.
In order to make masks, all raw materials are polypropylene (PP), and medical masks are usually called SMS structures. Among them, the spunbond layer is a single layer, and the meltblown layer is divided into a single layer or multiple layers according to filtration requirements. The "melt blown cloth" is often referred to as the "heart" of the mask. With good filtering, shielding, heat insulation and oil absorption properties, it is an important raw material for the production of masks.
3. The production process of common flat masks in daily life
① Fold the three layers of non-woven materials together by the machine.
②Curl the edges and sew the nose clip in.
③The large non-woven fabric is gradually narrowed from left to right along the slope to form a "folded structure".
④ Pressing link: Press the surface of the mask flat.
⑤Fully automatic single cut and seam mask.
⑥ Use non-woven fabric to fill the edges of the mask.
⑦Cut again and fill the edges.
⑧Heat pressing: to fix the ear rope.
⑨Finally pass the quality inspection, and package the finished product after sterilization.
Under normal circumstances, a machine can produce 2 to 3 masks per second, and each link will be strictly controlled and must be disinfected before leaving the factory. According to the official Weibo of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: China produces masks at a very fast rate, only 0.5 seconds per piece, but the standard analysis and disinfection process after production takes 7 days to half a month.
In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also pointed out on its official website that medical masks are sterilized with ethylene oxide. After sterilization, ethylene oxide will remain on the mask. Residual ethylene oxide must be released by analytical methods. In order to meet the safety content standard, it can only be put on the market after passing multiple tests.
