Principles of Tetra Pak Packaging Recycling Machinery
Tetra Pak packaging is composed of three materials: 71% cardboard, 24% polyethylene and 5% aluminum foil, which can prevent light, oxygen and water vapor, and protect the food safety of milk and beverages. In addition, Tetra Pak packaging is a resource that can be completely recycled and reused. Every high-quality raw material can be recycled and reused to make other useful items.
Since the waste milk carton is a composite material made of cardboard, plastic and aluminum foil, there is no other adhesive. The first process of the Tetra Pak recycling machine developed by SUNY GROUP is hydraulic pulping: the mechanical shear force brought by the rotation of the rotor separates paper from plastic and aluminum foil, thereby forming the separation of paper fibers from aluminum and plastic. In the comparison between vertical pulping and drum pulping, drum pulper is the best processing equipment for beverage cartons due to its large processing capacity, continuous production, ability to retain fiber characteristics to the greatest extent and reduce aluminum film breakage.
Milk carton pulping belongs to the treatment of special waste paper and the utilization of renewable resources. The project is based on energy-saving and environmental protection technology to realize the utilization of waste resources. Through the simplified system of Dewei, it can generate significant economic benefits. The basic process flow is shown in the figure on the right. There are no more than 5 sets of core equipment, which can obtain finely screened pulp at low cost, and the fiber loss in slag discharge is very small, so as to realize low-cost effective conversion of resources and maximize conversion efficiency;
The recycled fiber pulp produced can be used to make packaging paper, envelope paper, corrugated paper, fruit bagging paper, toilet paper and other papers. The separated aluminum and plastic can be recycled and reused.
